Effective September 1, 2010 there will be a $25 fee for missed appointments. We regret that it has become necessary to charge this fee but we are experiencing upwards of 200 no-shows or cancellations per month without a 24 hour notice. This means that patients who need to be seen were not able to be worked in.
As a courtesy, we provide patients with an automated scheduling reminder to avoid this type of problem but the ultimate responsibility for keeping appointments belong to the patient. |
